Gisele Bündchen doesn’t think about being in the spotlight in the wake of her divorce from Tom Brady.
The supermodel, 43, whose 13-year marriage to former NFL star Tom, 46, was ended in October 2022, also said forgetting about what other people think allows her to live her “truth”.
Gisele, who has children Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, with Tom, told the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I can’t really worry about what other people say about me because what they say about me is none of my business.
“It’s really their business that they’re trying to project onto me.
“If I’m going to be affected by that, I’m never going to live my truth… when you’re trying to be this person who tries to please and tries to be accepted and tries to get that from the outside world, you’re never going to be truly who you are.”
Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Gisele also told how she gets “pushback” at times for the way she raises her kids.
She said: “Sometimes, I get pushback, especially because now they’re in two different homes and there are two different ways. But I feel like I owe it to my kids, because of what my mom taught me.”
Gisele added about how she has always tried to instill discipline in her kids, and told them: “‘The way you make your room, the way you organise and make your bed is the way you’re going to do your life.’
“‘If you’re not learning here and now, then when and with who?’”
The interview has come out days after Tom – who also has son Jack, 16, with his 52-year-old actress ex Bridget Moynahan – was seen getting close to model Irina Shayk, 38, in New York after the pair first sparked romance rumours in July 2023.
Gisele has been spotted multiple times with her jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente, but told Vanity Fair last year it didn’t mean they were an item.
She said: “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything.”
